Tristan Elwell

Prior to establishing ECO Advisors, Tristan was Chief Risk Officer & Partner at Adelphi Capital. Tristan joined Adelphi in 2006 and became a Partner in 2010.

He was responsible for portfolio risk management at one of Europe’s longest established equity long/short hedge funds. His responsibilities at Adelphi included developing a macroeconomic, geopolitical, cross asset risk and portfolio hedging framework, portfolio optimisation & stress testing and managing all areas of regulatory and business risk.

Tristan graduated from the London School of Economics in 2000 with a BSc in Industrial Relations. He then joined Fidelity Investments, supervising the NAV Valuation process before focusing on trading and valuation strategies in fixed income and emerging markets. He has passed the SII Derivatives, IAC, IAQ, IMC and Higher Education Certificate in Mathematics examinations.
