Environmental issues and climate change have become a key battleground for the UK 2019 general election across party lines. In fact, voters are more concerned about the environment ahead of this election than at any time in the past.
New polling by Ipsos MORI reports that 85% of Britons are now concerned about climate change, with the majority (52%) very concerned. In addition, 73% have reported that they are already feeling the effects of climate change, and 55% responded that the UK should bring all emissions to net zero more quickly than 2050.
